Federal Aid Process
To determine your eligibility for Federal Student Aid, you will be required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Sonoran University's school code is G31070.
If you are interested in receiving federal student loans, you will also be required to complete the following:
If you fall below half-time status, withdraw, or graduate from Sonoran University, you will be required to complete the online exit counseling mandated by the U.S. Department of Education, to access the exit counseling log into Federal Student Aid.
Access to your Student Financial Aid Portal
Upon being accepted to Sonoran University, the Financial Aid Office will review your FAFSA and provide notification of your quarterly awards 30 days prior to the date of disbursement. Once the Financial Aid Office provides you with your financial aid offer letter, you may access the information through your Student Financial Aid portal. Access to your Student Financial Aid portal is only granted by completing the FAFSA.
