Attendance Verification

  • Attendance will be required during the first week of the quarter
  • Once attendance is verified, financial aid disbursements will be processed at the end of the first week of the quarter, please allow 3-5 business days for financial transactions to finalize

 

Tuition Payments and Financial Aid Disbursements

  • Tuition is due in full at the end of the first week of every quarter. Payments can be made online, in person, or over the phone to the Business Office
  • Financial aid will be processed on the first day of every quarter, any credit balances will be processed at the end of the first week of the quarter upon enrollment verification. Disbursements may take 3-5 business days to finalize, the Business Office will email students confirming their quarter's disbursement.
  • Financial aid recipients may sign up for direct deposit or receive a check

 

International Students

As an international student, you do not qualify to receive federal student aid under the U.S. Department of Education. However, you may apply for private student loans if you have a co-signer who is a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident. If you are receiving aid from your country or origin and you require enrollment and cost of attendance information, please contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@sonoran.edu.

 

Veteran Students

Sonoran University's ND and MS programs have been approved by the Arizona State Approving Agency for VA educational benefits, and we participate in the Yellow Ribbon program.

Financial Wellness

Financial awareness is important; know your options before enrolling, while enrolled, and after graduation. The Financial Aid Staff is happy to assist you with the following items:

    • Monthly/Quarterly budgets
    • Financial projections per quarter and per academic year
    • Understanding private loan options
    • Understanding repayment plans
    • Loan consolidation vs. refinancing of student loans
    • How to avoid delinquency and default
