Microsoft Teams is a powerful collaboration and information sharing tool that is available to all faculty, staff, and students, including:

• Instant chat between individuals and groups
• Web-based video-conferencing for up to 250 participants
• Desktop presentation in video-conferencing sessions
• Web-based file sharing for Teams members
• Support for Windows, Mac, and mobile clients
• Video conference attendees simply require an Internet-connected device - conference invites can be sent to anyone with an email address (you can send a Teams meeting invite to any participant with an email address - this includes Sonoran University  and non-Sonoran University participants)

Teams sites can be created to provide collaboration sites for discussion threads, file sharing, and other collaboration tools.  File and discussion content can be organized into channels for greater content focus.

All Sonoran University faculty, staff, students are licensed for Teams.

Downloading/installing Teams

Teams is installed as a standard on all Sonoran University faculty/staff computers.

For students, you can download Teams to your computer here:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app

You can also log into Teams using your web browser by visiting:  https://teams.microsoft.com

When logging into Teams, you can use your Sonoran University email address and password.
